Description
Chamkoria Chalets, Borovets, Bulgaria
Complex Description:
Chamkoria Chalets is a luxury development of 10 ski chalets and 44 apartments located in the mountain resort of Borovets. It is set in the exclusive Super Borovets area and just 250m from the new mountain golf course and ski lift. The complex has a spectacular location set in a secluded meadow and surrounded by age old pine trees. All the properties have magical views of pine forests and mountain peaks.
The chalets have 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms spread over three floors. The layout is designed to maximize the amazing mountain views. For this reason the main living areas are located on the top floor which has floor to ceiling windows. Each chalet also has a private sauna and garden with barbecue.
Borovetsis the oldest and most exclusive mountain resort in Bulgaria. Situated on the northern slopes of the Rila Mountain at an altitude of 1350 meters, the resort enjoys a breathtaking location huddled amongst age-old pine woods right at the foot of Mount Musala (2925 m), the highest peak on the Balkans.
The launch of the Super Borovets project will transform the area and result in large property price increases. The existing facilities will be improved and vastly expanded. Currently Borovets has around 55 km of pistes. This will be extended by 100km creating a huge ski domain. Over 300 million Euros is being invested and the Bulgarian government is supporting the project.
Due to the thick forests there is very limited land for building in Borovets. This means that the area will remain exclusive and cannot be over developed. As a result your property will continue to grow in value in the years ahead and rental demand will remain strong.

Why You Should Invest in Borovets Property Now
The Bulgarian Government has recently announced plans for a major expansion of Borovets that will turn it into a world class mountain resort.
The project is called Super Borovets and it's main aim is to expand the current resort of Borovets and turn it into an all year round holiday destination. It will incorporate the town of Samokov and the village of Beli Iskar, thus transforming Borovets into a mega resort. The existing facilities will be improved and vastly expanded. Currently Borovets has around 55 km of pistes. This will be extended by 100km creating a huge ski domain. Around 300-400 million Euros is to be invested and the Bulgarian government are supporting the project.
No other resort in Bulgaria has so far had such a project or received such extensive investment. As a result, the Super Borovets project ensures that the Borovets area and Borovets property is a top place to invest in - probably one of the best places in the whole of Bulgaria. Borovets property prices are still relatively low but this area is set to boom in the coming years.
The project will start in 2007 and is expected to be completely ready by 2010. It will be delivered in 3 stages.
Stage I– Borovets improvements
The first stage of the project involves the upgrading and modernization of the existing facilities in the current Borovets resort at 1350m. The tourist infrastructure of the resort will be improved and new facilities and hotels built. The slopes will be upgraded to European standards and new lifts and ski runs installed.
Stage II– Lower Borovets
Further accommodation and new ski runs will be created in the triangle of between Samokov, Beli Iskar and Borovets. A new tourist village will be created just outside Samokov town. This area will target tourists who cannot afford to stay in the higher parts of the mountain. Tourist centres and leisure facilities will be created at this level and also an 18-hole golf course.
Stage III– VIP Zone (this is where Chamkoria Chalets is located)
In the areas Shumnatitsa/Bialata Poliana (1400m) and Gvardeiska Poliana/Mecha Glava (1600m) new luxury hotels and ski chalets will be built. In these areas, village and eco tourism will be encouraged. Folklore restaurants, model farms, riverside parks and a horse riding centre are all part of the plans. In the Bialata Poliana area there are plans for a spectacular 18-hole mountain golf course and a gondola linking the area to the Borovets ski domain. As this area is high in the mountains every effort will be made to ensure the development is eco-friendly and sustainable.
